Hey Guys!

A Quick note! Thanks for the letters and packages. Dad... thank you for the letters, I love hearing from you. I have a blessing for you. If you start praying on your knees every morning and night you will become a better missionary and more chances to share the gospel! Mom...if you do what I told you about Cal she will become a better person than she could ever become on her own. You are important to her but so is the Lord! If she has both of you at the same time...WOW! Help her and you will see it will help you! Thank you for the emails and letters. It's so good to hear from you. And thank you for your love. Cal...Keep trying to be as good as you can really be. Ponder and Pray about the mission thing....it's between you and the Lord! Not me, not Dad or Mom but you and the Lord! Ok I LOve you! St. Cloud Letter # 14, Sept 28 2009

Wow!!!!

This week was amazing. We had Charles, Liam and Tracey get baptized!!!! Mom will you tell Brad that he is going to love going on a mission. Tell him to work hard and it easy and fun. Also well you put this in the ward newsletter....I'm so grateful for the missionary's in our ward, thank them for me and tell the young men in our ward that I love them and if they want to understand life better and grow that they need to prepare to serve a mission. It is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I Love it out here!!!!Tell them to remember there are souls out there that only the Lord can help through them!!! I love you Pima 4th Ward!! Know that I'm trying my hardest to build the ward out here to be like our ward. Well this next part is for Cal. Cal I'm glad that you are growing up. I think you should prepare to serve a mission. I think you should make it a goal! It would make you such a better person and you would love it. I know the Lord wants you to serve, maybe you should pray about it. I hope you are the first girl in are family to be a servant of are Lord Jesus Christ! Well I'm glad your growing up. Here's a tip....when you pray get on your knees, never ever rush a prayer. When your eyes are closed, picture God in the room with you and act like he is listening, cuz he is!! Hey watch Conference with mom and write what you like about each talk you hear and tell me how your prayer are going. I love hearing from you....your letters are my favorite to get! You are the best sister in the world ...and I love you and I will always be here for you k! Mom write down your notes from the talks you hear and send them to me. Keep helping Cal....teach her all you know! I have a favor to ask...Mom before you and Cal go to bed each night, go in her room and get down on your knees and pray out loud with her. Switch off every night. Mom will you do this for me, please??? I know it well help both of you! Well I love it out here, I miss you guys sooooooo bad though. But it won't slow me down! You guys fuel me...you help me stay happy and proud. You remind me of how lucky I am to have a Temple family and I want everyone to have this!!! So thanks for your support! And to all the family...if your are reading this...Thank-you for your love and prayers and your caring!!! Well the other Elder are waiting for me and we need to go shop. so I love you guys! St. Cloud Letter #13, Sept 21 2009

Mom We baptized Connie!!!! And we should have 3 more this weekend. Charles, Tracey and Liam! I'm so happy! Our goal is to get 5 this transfer. I know we can do it, we just have to keep working hard. I'm going on exchanges with Elder Bills, he is a zone leader and way cool. I have to give a training talk at district meeting. I'm going to talk about the Book of Mormon missionary's and their good points and how we can be like them. I have been a little sick but I'm feeling better. I got another ward newsletter from sis Barney. Can you tell her thanks and I love getting them. So how is your becoming Temple worthy and missionary work going? Do anything you can to help the work. There are a lot of people out here to help and I want to help them all. We must help the work go forward. It's all that really matters...this is the 7th inning and we have to step up our game cuz we don't have much time. I'm getting so excited for conference in a few weeks. Well let's keep working hard!

St. Cloud Letter #12, Sept 14 2009

Hey Guys,

Man Brother Munns house is so nice. He has Zebra and water buffalo and stuff. All his kids were there and while they swam, we played pool. It was fun! Bro. Munns is a Lawyer and gives a lot of money to the church! Elder Wilks greenie is Elder Creer...He's from Las Vegas just like Elder D. In fact they are from the same stake! Hey Brodee I got your letter. I miss you bad. Hey keep trying hard in school so you can be rich and buy nice stuff and I can come bum @ your house all the time!! LOL! I miss Bentley so bad...I get homesick every time I look at her pictures. I love her so much. It sounds like she is growing up fast! Well Elder Creer is unpacking and I'm chillin playing hacky sack but I need to study! Oh funny story...this guy was walking down the street and we road up behind him and I said hey sir and he yelled and screamed like a little girl. Oh my gosh it was so funny! Me and Elder D laughed forever after we talked to him! Well we just dropped the car off to get an oil change and I'm studying the 17 points of the true church. I'm trying to memorize them. My heart hurts... I want everyone to have this gospel. Why can't people understand! I can't help from crying for them. I hope that everyone can get the chance to hear our message. Anyway we went to stake conference and listen to Elder Gay talk. We took the Halls and Connie and Charles. His talk was so good. He talked bout trials and Joseph Smith. He is a man of God and made me see many things I didn't see before. He is just pure and powerful. I want to be as pure as I can and help other become and stay pure. Well Our faith has been tested but with the Lords help we found 3 gators! So all is well!

St. Cloud Letter #11, Sept 8 2009

Hey Guys,

Well today is deep clean Monday....so we have to really clean the house good. After that Brother Wright is picking us up to take us to lunch and then to finish our knifes! I'm going to send it home next week. We went to the Sheckman's for supper. Bro. Sheckman is like in his late 60's and he was a Jew and Sis. Sheckman is from Peru and had 4 kids before they met. They are Susie, Danny, Georgie and Angie, who is 7 and I love her so much! Afterwards we met Sis Sheckman at her friends house, who isn't a member. The friend was sick and so we gave her a blessing. It was sweet and the spirit was strong. We also taught Charles the word of wisdom. I'm trying really hard to work on pride. Pride is my biggest weakness. I'm studying some talks on pride. It's hard but I have to better myself always. I want to be closer to the spirit. I want to change and be a better man. We all need to read 2 Nephi 26:27 and do it. If there anyone we care about we need to tell them the church is true! This guy came over...his name is Bro. Wanger. He was sick and needed a blessing. It's so weird to me that I have the power to heal the sick, I mean really heal them even someone with cancer or anything. It's all up to faith and God. It's crazy that God would give us that kind of power! We went on splits and I got to teach Connie...I committed her to be baptized and she going to be baptized Sept 19th. I'm so happy for her. The spirit was so strong! I need to go pray for thanks! And I also need to polish my shoes because they are so soaked. I hope they aren't ruined. Well we just got the call for transfers. Elder Stewart is going to Coco with Elder Wood and Elder Wilks is going to train and me and Elder D are still together! Well we are waiting for the rain to stop so we can go teach Charles. It is so cool teaching him because he's so in tune with the spirit. I'm so excited for Sunday's...they are my favorite days!! We are doing some major tracking tonight from 7 to 9. We want to talk to at least 50 people.
